Appartement Costa Brava

Stayed in the Hotel Barcarola in S'Agaro for 1 night and the remaining 6 nights in the apartments owned by the hotel. The hotel was fabulous and the apartment was everything we could ask for. It was our first self catering holiday and we had everything we needed in the apartment to make our family holiday enjoyable. The beach of Saint Pol is fabulous, very busy in August but there is loads of space for everyone. It is very safe and very well looked after. We really enjoyed our week in S'agaro and would recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful holiday

S'Agaro is a perfect Mediterranean holiday destination with fabulous restaurants, amazing golden beach and beautiful scenery. We loved it!

Très bon séjour
L'appartement est idéalement situé, à 3 minutes de la plage San Pol. On peut apercevoir la plage du balcon même si nous ne sommes pas en front de mer. Il est relativement calme, il y a juste eu un peu de bruit avec l'appartement du dessous. L'appartement est très bien disposé, côté jour avec un grand salon et un côté nuit avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Les salles de bain sont un peu vétustes mais cela ne nous a pas posé souci. En cas de souci, il y a la possibilité d'appeler l'hôtel qui gère la location et ils interviennent très rapidement. Le personnel est très agréable. Nous sommes très satisfaits.

Estuvimos muy bien, el apartamento excelente y el pueblo muy bonito. Repetiremos.

Good location
Nice large appartement with good location, only a few steps from the beach. Nice cool terrace. Service from hotel reception is good and having a garage for the car is a real asset. The appartment is cool and nice. Plenty of towels and what ever you need. Do bring some kitchen utilities - they only have very basic tools. Lovely town and a very nice beach.

Nice area
We came to Barcelona by plane and it took a good hour in the car to get to S'Agaro which is beautifully situated in a small bay. We were greeted at the front desk with the necessary information, but no more than that. The hotel's pool is located some distance away from the apartment and also used by hotel guests. The beach is fine sand, so it was used extensively. There are good opportunities for trips to Sant Feliu de Guixoles, Girona or Figueres. We also visited a winery.

Excellent stay
The spacious appartment was just as described. The friendly staff made our stay so much nicer, and they were quick to help with our requests. The refrigerator broke down, but was promptly replaced with the minimum of hassle.
We can definitely reccommend these appartments to anybody who would just like to relax and let their hair down.
We would definitely be back soon.

Heerlijk appartement

Wij hebben een heerlijke week in S'Agaró gehad. Het appartement was ruim, heerlijk koel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt een aanrader.
De appartementen liggen echt vlak aan het mooie strand. Veel watersport mogelijkheden en leuke restaurantjes aan de boulevard. Voor kinderen die echt willen uitgaan moet je wel naar Platje D'Aro (5 min.).

Great holiday home in S'Agaró

We stayed in the Costa Brava apartment in September and this place is really nice. Very spacious interior with everything you need and also quiet despite its proximity to the boulevard. The beach at Sant Pol is one of the best in the area and not very crowded, and from the apartment it is just a few steps. Plenty of places to eat within a few minutes walking, even the Valvi supermarket is nearby. We really liked Sant Feliu with the beach and old centre and Platja d'Aro is good for shopping. And Girona was a surprise as well, as were the many beautiful towns in the hills close to S'Agaro. We saw a lot of mountain bikes, so next time we might bring our own bikes and walking shoes ! It is also convenient that the hotel is around the corner, it's nice to have a afternoon drink at the pool as we did regularly and meet other people. The staff is also very helpful. So all in all we had a very good holiday and hope to be back soon. We can really recommend this place !
